Formed in 1995, the Modine Manufacturing Company Foundation has a history of giving back to local communities through the financial support of our foundation and volunteer commitment of our employees. The mission of the Foundation is to aid in the development of strong, vibrant communities.
Through direct grants, the Foundation creatively and thoughtfully acts as a champion for the communities in which Modine operates.
Programs and proposals at selected institutions of higher education where Modine recruits its workforce and/or institutions with specific academic areas of science and technology of interest to Modine.
Programs and proposals designed to help elementary, middle school and high school students develop and maintain curiosity and excitement about the worlds of math, science, technology and business. The Foundation will also give consideration to proposals that help students and teachers understand the relevance of math, science, technology and business to society and the workplace.
Programs and proposals aimed at providing educational opportunities to institutions and students with a demonstrated financial need.
The Modine Manufacturing Company Foundation Inc. engages in grant making that reflects Modine's strong culture of ethics and trust. When considering the Modine Manufacturing Company Foundation as a potential funding source, please note the following:
Only U.S. nonprofit charitable organizations classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the U.S. Internal Revenue Code are eligible. Organizations must take full legal, fiscal and administrative responsibility for their request. Requesting organization should have an active and responsible governing board, adhere to ethical standards in publicity and solicitation of funds, as well as demonstrate financial viability.
The Foundation is focused on the United States. Modine also supports its other global communities through actions coordinated by our global business units.
- Organizations may only submit one request in a twelve-month period.
- Proposals should be submitted via the Wisconsin Common Grant Application Form. Click here to access the form.
- No faxed or electronic applications will be accepted.
- All applications and support materials such as annual reports, pamphlets/brochures, newsletters, audited financial statements, DVDs, etc. should be mailed to:
